- KCSE mean grade of C+. In addition, a student must have the following minimum grades in the respective subjects Alternative A English /Kiswahili C+ Mathematics/Physics C+ Chemistry C+ Biology C+ Alternative B Physical science C+ Biological Sciences C+ Mathematics C+ English /Kiswahili C+ Or KACE ;with 2 or more principals, with one in Biology and one in chemistry, or any other qualifications accepted by the University Senate as equivalent to any of the above. UPGRADING MODULE (FOR DIPLOMA HOLDERS) KCSE C (plain) Mean grade, plus a Diploma in Nursing from an Institution recognized by the University Senate. Or holders of KCE/EACE Division 2 (two) Or K.A C E, with two (2) Principals pass in Biology and Chemistry. In addition, the applicants must have at least two (2) years working experience after attaining the Diploma in Nursing and must be registered with Nursing Council of Kenya with a current Practice Certificate. Mode of Study: Part time- Comprise eight (8) semesters spread over two and half (2.5) academic years. Classes run for two (2) days in a week (Wednesdays & Thursdays) at JKUAT main Campus in Juja.
