- KCSE Mean Grade of C+ (Plus). In addition , the applicant must have either of the qualifications listed below: Alternative A Biology B Chemistry C+ Mathematics/Physics C+ Alternative B Biological Sciences B Physical Sciences C+ Mathematics C+ OR A minimum of 2 principal (Biology and Chemistry) in A levels, IGCE appropriate to the subjects referred above. OR A diploma credit from an institution recognized by JKUAT senate and where applicable the regulating body shall qualify for mature entry at the 2nd year of study. OR Higher National Diploma in relevant subjects with discretion of the department may be considered for 3rd year entry. Prove of work experience in relevant field will be considered. OR Any other qualifications accepted by the University Senate as equivalent to the above.
